Small dwelling.

G'day folks,

A small dwelling with a 18' footprint for the actual home. Not a serious render and I already know about the hovering chairs. Just a sample to check orientation and light levels. This is an evening render.

The (Someone will call it) oddly shaped blocks in the centre are door blocks over the entertainment centre/closet. The door for this closet will be double skinned with the entertainment units inside and the blocks/door panels you can see also shade the screens from glare.

One bedroom and one bathroom.

Ta, Fletch. Trying to make the setup logical but simple, I'll get to a proper render later. Not as good as the shared space folk, they blow my mind with some of the layouts they come up with. I have omitted the banister on the open side of the stairs because frankly it looks horrible and the render opens out without it.

In general, a very interesting use of a small amount of space. Looks like it could be an efficient small apartment or study space in a basement.

Ta mate, behind the tv is a 'closet' or general storage space and I am looking to put sliding tray type storage beneath the stairs too. A small larder above the worktop too.

The table, chairs and crockery fold away and store in the unit next to the fridge/freezer so there would be more space when these are stored.

I appreciate any suggestions and will go for a proper render when the layout is clearer in my mind. Then perhaps I can finish the car that is driving me up the wall. Essentially the target market is immediately post university and on their first job and or first time buyers getting into the lower tiers of the market. Build would very definitely be the prefab variety with units being completed on site in one or two days.

Mike, have you installed the latest version of Twilight and have you tried the new Post-process tab using the ACES tone mapping algorithm? (It's very easy and looks great.)

Not as yet Fletch, I'll get on it now. Thank you. I think the hdri generates the colour issue but the orange tiles might contribute.

This is really exciting, I am learning so much from seeing other peoples renders - always intrigued for small interiors what you are using for the focal length of the camera settings?
Keep up the good work - it's inspiring!
