Hi

I'm new to sketchup.
This is my 1st try.

As you can see, the blanket texture is not perfect ;(, at the bottom, mapping is not correct.
I have tested "thrupaint".....and it's really hard to understand how works that extension ! So much button !!

Great start! :^:

The frameless doors and windows seem unrealistic.
Mapping curved surfaces in SketchUp is not fun. In Twilight Pro we have some mapping tools that can perhaps help.

The lighting in the bedroom seems fairly realistic, but not well designed or pleasant. Maybe try nicer lighting designs.

My weakness :

- I still have trouble placing elements (doors, windows, etc.) with precision. My cursor jump directly severals pixels
- I have to learn more about the lights
- I also need to understand how textures work with bump (how to create them)
- is Group is made with "components" ?

Why there is no "ready to use" simple geometrics shapes in sketchup, such, ball, cube, tor, polygone, etc ??????

If you have a generic mouse and keyboard that uses microsoft windows 10 drivers, they can lose coherence and behave erratically. A restart can cure this short term but otherwise you are better off with a specific brand keyboard etc with a specific driver.

Groups can be made into components, essentially if you need one of an item/piece call it a group but if you need multiples of exactly the same item in a model make it a component where all the items can be altered by changing one of them. I take it this is what you are asking.
