It works well here to explain the architectural concept to the observer. :^:

It does, thanks for the heads up. I shall have to go through the mask tut again so as to retain the hdri but remove the distraction. Something I am going to look at today is to remove the vertical faces of the furniture while keeping shelves etc to see if I can move things on a bit.

Thanks to you and Chris for keeping us all moving forwards, it is VERY much appreciated. :hat:

Having some thoughts on this, I don't particularly like the background as it sometimes works out. This means no hdri. So, reverting to artificial lighting only with some invisible lights going the job of the hdri. I have to sort out a better scene orientation and possibly a few more invisible lights to correctly illuminate the 'characters and furnishings to create a more efficient scene, this is what I have so far.

:?: The lady on the sofa looks unwell. :-: :!
my guess is that leaving the back wall as visible would be a good idea.

Trying to get a properly 'square' view from above. The 'model' has been rotated along the red axis to enable this.

I have a render cooking at the moment which has run longer than the last one, this being square it looks better. I have attempted to include renders with this orientation before but not managed it being told the image 'must be a minimum of 1600 x whatever'.

The current image is better but on reflection such things as windows should remain in situ, the walls can be left out. No wardrobe upstairs or storage unit on the ground floor due to 'getting in the way' of the overall impression of the build.

Which girl are you talking about?

For context, the picture of the dog 'upstairs' is a missing friend and the girl there misses him, sad indeed. The original was painted by a very talented bloke I know on another forum for a friend of his who owned the dog in the picture. Taken from a photograph as he is indeed gone now and missed.

I am cooking a render with three of four wall elements in place. Early doors yet.

The larger of the three properties and it is now a two bedroom property. Somewhat smaller than before but the built in wardrobe/storage means that the sleeping space remains clear. Airy? You tell me.

Another view with transparency for one of the interior walls.which could evolve into a transparent bathroom wall too. I am experimenting with higher than average windows to retain a high degree of privacy. There is a screen below where you would normally find a window. This can emit light levels to mimic sunlight or a calming background to watching tv/fims/sports. I am trying to draw the residents eyes outside the building to make the space FEEL bigger than it is.
