Need Lamps ?

Post by tuna57 » Tue Jan 18, 2022 5:19 pm

Haven’t been doing much lately. Have a bunch of new lamp models and figured I’d put a little scene together. Saved the render as an .hdr . Did the post process in Affinity using their “tone mapping” functions. Interesting experiment. Haven’t really done much of the tone mapping in post pro before. Good to experiment and maybe learn a little.

Get a little obsessed at times. Did some subtle tweaks in post pro. Better?

I really like this model/room.

I need something like for something I was attempting. Would you consider sharing?

Well, I plan to remove some of the lamps but I do not know which ones. In addition to something I have in mind, I would like to look at things as part of my learning experience. In the past all of my modeling centered on car washes which was an entirely different environment. As a retiree, I am trying to learn how to expand myself and continue to learn as a hobbyist.

I have a lamp that looks like the one on the table on the right of the image. Mine has a taller shade. I live in a area that has a lot of Mid-Century Modern homes and we are outfitting our place with vintage furniture. Any chance I could get a copy of that lamp? Its the one with the brass bulge.

Thanks
