I'm designing a new LDR (see subject above)
check out what that new SSS material can do... it's an image of some glass I created from some art glass I found on the web.
using the SSS template I set the IOR to 1.52 (glass) and changed the SSS opacity to be about 30

this is a good example of 'architect in a hurry' where I can just quickly throw a few spots in, apply some templates very quickly and render... took about 15mins to set this up to render from having a plain SU model. How powerful is that?

I'm again, not going for photorealistic here... I'm an architect in a hurry and I want a good image to explain my concept to a client to get a decision, or help them get excited/behind/suppot a project.
