Post by Federicospoltore » Sun May 17, 2009 10:12 pm

Well, this is what I'm trying after visiting an old country house and get charmed by his soft atmosphere.. like if the time has stopped

original size: 1230 x 591
render time: 2 hrs
render preset: MLT (BPT) and sun and sky for lighting

I love the atmosphere. It feels like it needs a little something though. Maybe give the vertical view a little more above the image? I don't know exactly. But it's great work. LOVE the woodstack

really nice... I like the horizontal composition... designed it for the website banner? :D
the only thing may be the bright spot off the white bottle... could be a material setting getting too much light bounce off that one.

Thank you guys for the feedback. Chris, I will work more on the composition of these scene, in order to have more vertical view (I have a lot of things in my mind but not too much time  ) may be for the weekend I would have something in my hands. Regarding to the bright spot in the bottle, yes I don't know why the material is bouncing that much light..but I will fix this.

regards :)

I'd keep the composition, I like it... and have an idea for it. If you use the porcelain template for that white bottle, it may be just what you need... simple.

Beautiful :!: Lovely atmosphere and textures. Looks like you've got some caustic effects happening on the back wall. 2 hours rendering time, wow  what are your system specs? I think I need to open my wallet and upgrade :x

Hi rangerrick,

First of all, thanks. Well, this is a really simply scene, using the sky and sun for lightning so that makes it faster to render. I render it in my Macbook pro, 4 gb ram, 2,5 ghz.
