Machine component

Post by rangerrick » Sat Sep 10, 2011 10:34 pm

Without going into too much detail due to confidentiality, I can say that this piece of equipment is a retrofit for
some mining machinery which was modeled from engineering plans. This is one of about 18 images and exploded
views which I created for this project.

Very good modelling & very good render but I would like the metal parts with some dirty textures.

Yeah , that would be cool. I may play with it some more just as a personal challenge. The client wanted the retrofit components with an undistressed finish to distinguish the “new from the old” as he was using the images as a marketing/sales pitch. Thanks for the replies guys.
