I am finding speckling in the latest images. I know the background and sky does not wotk with the image but that can be changed later. Being a wip, there are some textures amd a roof missing too. Sometimes that wind blows a bit too hard.

Hi Mike,
which render setting are you using, and what are your sky settings?

Hi,
I am using render at 4 (medium) with sky settings only changed for colour (rgb (253,249,195)) and power which is 60%.
The time taken was in the reagion of 35 minutes. Boy are you fast mate. Barely had time to sort out the bed time routines and I am behind the curve. Thanks mate.
Mike
PS. I also used one of your spherical skies but, reckon you worked that out already.

Re: OK, not the full shilling yet.
I would say what you are getting is exactly what you are rendering - a medium quality rendering.
Medium+ will be better AA for the soft shadows, but as it's a prelim and not a final, I wouldn't worry about that just yet.
High+ will be even better AA for the soft shadows... again, for the final.
with the progressive render methods AA becomes a non-issue.
