A Simple Presentation: Private Residence

Post by paappleb » Fri Apr 20, 2012 3:19 pm

Hello all. I don't typically do stylized work for clients, but I was requested to create a simple presentation to help the owner understand the roof ridge lines and overall form of the house with the proposed additions. This is a 5 master suite home. Each rendering was done Easy 9 100 passes each with studio HDRI, PP out HDRI background to create a clean presentation image.

Looks great!
A subtle line overlay to call out the ridge edges may be a good plan with this type of thing.

Thanks Fletch. I've done that in the past on colored renderings for earth toned EIFS to help bolster the profiles a little more, unfortunately didn't think to apply it here. Thanks for the refresher! Now onto project heartbeat.... finally. 8-)

i quite like that style of presentation and have done similarly

simple in appearance, quick to render and gives the client an excellent idea of the building form

...and with this type of presentation, it's all about the building...

...well done :^:

Thanks Fletch and Gareth. I was told the meeting with the owners went very well thanks to the images. I decided on my lunch break to do the line overlay to wrap up this post. Line drawings exported in engineering style, and overlaid as multiply layer at 5% opacity. Enjoy and thanks for the support.

They look good, and I'm glad the client liked them, and they aided in communication. :^:

(Line overlay is maybe too subtle for my taste.)
