A project just for fun, which I'm working on is the reconstruction of my favorite night club in New York: Palladium. I've been there at Summer 1988 and was impressed by the phantastic lightshow and architechture. Unfortunately I only have a few pictures and the things that I have in mind after 24 years.

The Palladium club was located in New York at 14th street, it was an classic old theatre, which was reconstructed in the mid 80ties by Steve Rubell and Ian Schrager (the formaly owners of Studio 54) to a big nightclub, with one of the best lightshows I have seen so far. The backside of the stage was painted by keith haring. In the early 90ties it was also used for Club MTV, a show with dancers at the club, and recent dance music. unfortunately it was pulled down in 1998 to make place for a new building. here are some pictures and videos of the original:

A lot of work went into this labor of love, congrats Jo-ke, on a job well done.
That last turn-table shot is perhaps my favorite.

I still haven't found a way to render that project in preset low. So I've lost the nice beams but it's a nice render anyway.

Amazing club design! Glad you placed vinyl turntables, most of the Djays today forgot to mix on those beauties.
