Bathroom Remodel/Expansion

Post by sshiffermiller » Tue Nov 13, 2012 2:03 pm

Hey guys,

Its been a little while but I thought I would share one of the more recent renders I did for a master bath remodel/expansion competition.

Let me know what you think, or if you have any suggested improvements.

Thanks,

-Scott.

Was thinking Perspective distortion should be corrected.

first glance - looking pretty good , but you forgot the chrome on the fixtures.

Seems like the overall lighting feels a big flat to me, that's easily fixed in post pro, I would use Depth render and overlay in photoshop with overlay mode or soft light, invert depth pass if necessary, adjust the opacity to taste, then add some vignetting.

The color of all the lights is very important - I'd adjust that before rendering again.

Fletch made plenty of great suggestions. I would also suggest increasing the segments for the lavatory bowls as the curved edges are looking rather sharp. Great work :^:

Thanks guys! Great suggestions. I had actually submitted to the competition before I posted this here but only recently found the results. I did not win, but did get an honorable mention.
