A couple I posted on SU.
"This is my coffee table that I bought years ago. It is a unique design but very functional for entertaining.
Pizza box fits well.
It is reasonable creation of what it looks like. (Not to Dave R's standards for construction though)
Had this idea of building one for my grandkids play room but by the time I learned SU, they entered college.
(Kids have no patience today)
Here they are if anyone wants to turn them into real furniture have at it."

Re: Coffee Table
Hi Jpalm, these are looking good.
The shadows under the objects could be stronger, I think some post-pro exposure adjustments could really make them sing.
The model in the first image is really well done. The reflective floor is distracting, but does look ok, I'm not sure why.
The second image seems to be missing a lot of shadows and I don't know why. Are you using a pure white table? Avoid all pure colors in rendering, they don't exist in real life.
Here's the second image with Topaz Lab's Adjust Filter - "Dynamic Pop"

Re: Coffee Table
Yeh, that is better Fletch.
The table is a cream white.
I avoid whites. I listen to you honest.
Carpet has wrong texture applied, noticed AFTER I rendered.
Thanks for your help always.

Re: Coffee Table
First model is great, a clean classic design Also love the texturing. Couldn't help myself to notice the default SU carpet texture in the second design

I have plenty of carpet textures, just got lazy.
