Welcome, Robert!
Great start, I think when you improve the model with realistic details, the render will improve right along with it.
Why are the windows white?

Thanks, Fletch, for the comment. It's all SCIPs with troweled shotcrete. The shakes are a stamped pattern in the concrete. So, no details really. Guess I need to show reflected clouds in the windows. Shoulda used a spherical pan. I found one in R.C.

Re: House on coast
I see, Bob. Fascinating.
I think if you use a Spherical Sky with Trees then you will get the reflections you need in the windows, and it will be a good render. You will want to try the Library Twilight_Architectural and choose "Architectural Glass or Architectural Glass Warped"
No gutters? When water drips down faces of the building, won't it leave traces over time? No drip edges?

Re: House on coast
Took your advice and rendered with a spherical sky, adding just the windows. Also modified the center gable to keep rain and snow off the deck, added gutters.
