pool water

I'm still trying to workout how to get water to look right, Fairly satisfied with this look. Comments and suggestions welcome!

my tips:
use Templates>Liquid>Water
turn off shadow casting for the water in the "advanced" pulldown in the Twilight Template Material Dialog.
Set color of water to white, 0% alpha (100% clear)
don't use the sketchup texture for the bump, use the perlin noise procedural texture to drive the bump... "size" of the bump (bump strength) should be "0.01" for pool water, or even lower, going down to something like "0.001")
but if you use a sketchup texture, try the "glass sky reflection" image texture.

v2 is slightly different, but this tutorial.
