I really like the new features. Well done. Overlay function adds more possibilities and effects. Thanks!

Make sure you have the latest version of Twilight Render (V2.5) downloaded and installed. Once you have that, open your SketchUp scene.

There is one trick to getting this to work. By default, the Overlay feature is disabled. You must enable it by opening the Render editor, clicking on Settings -> Advanced Render Settings, and checking 'Capture Screen Shot for Overlay'. This must be done before you start your render.
The reason it's done like this is that capturing the screen shot from SketchUp can add time to your render. So rather than add that overhead to all renders, you must first enable it. (This must be done per-scene.)

Once you have enabled it, you will now see, in the Post-Process popup (lower right corner of the Render editor) an option 'Composite SketchUp View'. Change it to whichever method works best for your scene.

Hopefully that will get you up and going. You can read more about this and the other new features here: http://www.twilightrender.com/phpBB3/vi ... =10&t=5350

Great, I bought a license because of this feature!

One big question though: This feature renders also the hidden lines although they are not visible in the sketchup shot as it should be. Is this a error in Twilight or can I adjust this somewhere?

Kind regards,
Eric

It should not be rendering hidden lines, please show example, and provide small example .skp file test scene for our testing/assistance, thank you.

Make sure your curved objects are inside groups or components and edges are smoothed in SketchUp.
Be sure you've gone through the Preflight Checklist before starting your rendering.
