Re: Small bar servery
It's a small place to manage I know, but you should consider another inside lay-out. Imagine the bartender is a mother of five.
Don't have to be symmetrical, you can put a lot of things under the counter.
Darker wood will go best with gothic.
Use gaps for corners to define shade lines.
Bottles look like soldiers in a parade facing the general.

Thanks for the comments. Yes the wood should be darker- this was a concept sketch so was a bit lazy trying to find a good match. Here is a pic of how it turned out. EDIT: here's another small bar built into a confined space below a basement staircase.

Re: Small bar servery
nice work!
Use "Shiny Plastic" template for your wood next time... increase shininess to 2000 if you want it very polished.

Re: Small bar servery
Thanks for the thumbs up Fletch. Checked the wood and as suspected it is probably flat. To be more precise the message came up 'legacy generic custom'. I presume this is because the drawing is an earlier version from an old project I am re-doing......I finally have the time now to indulge myself and really check out all the bells and whistles on this great bit of kit where before I was slaving like an idiot and flying it by intuition. That speaks volumes for Twilight's ease in creating workable solutions straight out of the box, and most importantly the assistance from all of the tips and advice from this forum.
