Have been messing about with variations of this model off and on for some time now. Finally had time to play some and let it run. Far from perfect but not bad......
Rendered on Easy10, let it go 515 passes. Tweaked exposure in Twilights post pro before saving. Did some minor post pro in Gimp also. Hope to have the time to fool around with it some more, move things around, try different wall and bar top finishes etc. Was a good learning experience.

Re: Shaken Not Stirred
Looking good there!
Only thing is, that everything in the scene looks perfectly clean. Maybe you could add some fingerprints or smudges to the glass or the bottles, that would make for some nice detail. Also.. I can't really tell what but something about those tongs is sticking out to me, just looks a bit off for some reason. Sorry if I seem like a nitpick, but since you're going for photo-realism the details are important
But keep up the great work!

Re: Shaken Not Stirred
Thanks for the comments RTD . As for putting fingerprints on the glasses and bottles.... ... got to say that"s a little bit beyond my skill level I think . Agree with your comments on the ice tongs, they don't look quite right to me either. The material template on the tongs is Metal > Stainless Steel. Not sure if the just haven't fully resolved or if it's due to the light placement in relation to the tongs position in the model.... A few other things not so sure about , I'm not real sure if the bases of the martini glasses have cleared as much as they should and there is a strange blurriness in places of the bar top laminate pattern..... Well these kind of odd renders are part of my night time learning experiments and are a great form of stretching my skills beyond what's required on my present job. Cheers......

I cannot point to a specific problem with the tongs or anything else, I just like the image and the scene just works.
