Break in rendering.

Post by Mike1158 » Mon Jul 09, 2018 12:44 pm

It is like sitting in the oven with the thermostat broken and heat set to stun instantly.

All I can do in this is sweat and wonder when it will end. Of course, this being the UK, we will go straight to full fledged winter mode. More snow last winter than for decades and this? Someone should recheck the settings and go for economy. Anyone else getting weird weather lately?

Having said this I am going to get to re-read digital lighting and rendering. As soon as my hands do not make the pages damp.

Addendum. Post midnight it is almost comfortable enough to render. Experimenting with a hairy plain, or is that a pun for plain hairy. Ooops. :! I know but post summer temperatures which I am NOT used to anything is funny.

Today is a little cooler but we have only had 5 minutes rain since this thing started. I mean, seriously, UK summer is supposed to be wetter than a five week old lettuce in the fridge.

Tomorrow and at least this week is going to be back to hot and dry. And dry, and dry.

What on earth happened to our summers?

Oh well something good in every day and my 20 year old lap top which I dragged out of it's bag, now has a working letter E as in every time I tap it. It's been a long time since I last looked at the wonder of the Windows XP desk top and I had to really think but the SUSE linux still works too so a bit of nostalgia. I may even get back to writing my novel, a novel, novel so to speak. I hope all of you are staying well. I think the break has sparked my thought processes so hope to produce something intriguing or decent at least.

35 degree's plus possible by mid week. Ouch. Not something this island nation is used to.

Gareth, is the fact of you reading old posts, the cause of your pandemic retreat?

Partly, but the main reason is that I haven't participated very often of late. So, I was browsing for topics of interest.

I have missed this place..!
