This song by Ecuadorian band "Tranzas" was a hit in the late 90's. Love the lyrics!
Someone uploaded it to YouTube with anime images (???), but the song is what matters.
At the time, girls who loved luxury were called "plastic girls" or "plásticas" in Ecuador.
Lyrics:
(Talking)
Now we're gonna play a song about all those materialistic girls...
Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you...
PLASTIC GIRL!
You're a very
"civilized" girl.
If he doesn't have a car,
your pretend you're tired.
Everything makes you sick.
You hate revelries
You only choose friends
who have a car
Your clothing is bought in New York
You melt when the sun shines
CHORUS
Plastic girl!
...with everybody
Plastic girl!
...in your tastes
Plastic girl!
...and nit-picking
Plastic girl!
...and I don't like you like that.
You study in very
preppy high schools
You live in houses
in exclusive neighborhoods
You go to discos
and casinos
You were Vistazo's cover (a popular magazine)
The city mayor is your godfather
You spend all day long in the chat, chat, chat...
You change boyfriends like you change your necklaces
CHORUS
Plastic girl!
...with everybody
Plastic girl!
...in your tastes
Plastic girl!
...and nit-picking
Plastic girl!
...and I don't like you like that.
(GUITAR SOLO)
(Imitating a plastic girl)
"So... let me see...
What? Me? Go by bus?
Ha! No way!
I better call my daddy through the cell phone
and tell him to have the chauffeur come for me
Stop right there...
With air conditioning
Tinted windshields
So very cool...
It's like... and I was like...
Look at his clothes!
Such a redneck..."
To the hell with plastic girls! Ooo-hooo!
When you practice a sport,
you prefer tennis
And every sunday
You go to confess,
You change your boyfriend like you change your necklace,
You're lacking something I don't
CHORUS
Plastic girl!
...with everybody
Plastic girl!
...in your tastes
Plastic girl!
...and nit-picking
Plastic girl!
...and I don't like you like that.

Sorry...translation
Three of the Spirit to guide you
To guide you from the freedom
The first of them to flatter you
If you were bigger than others
On the face of these rising mask
Contacts become rough
The second says that you lack
What somebody steals
Portion I was too thin
Because you are working behind my back
Black soul black soul
No, and yet there you are
The third is from the realm of passion
As the body craving decreased
Drink blood, eat meat
Who that is I am eating
Who that is I am eating
Three of the Spirit to guide you
To guide you from the freedom
The first of them to flatter you
If you were bigger than others
On the face of these rising mask
Contacts become rough
The second says that you lack
What somebody steals
Portion I was too thin
Because you are working behind my back
Black soul black soul
No, and yet there you are
The third is from the realm of passion
As the body craving decreased
Drink blood, eat meat
Who that is I am eating
Who that is I am eating

Re: Music from your country
For fans of innovative classical guitar These guys (Vlatko Stefanovski and Miroslav Tadić) are very popular in Macedonia, Croatia, Serbia, etc. But I doubt few have heard them outside of that region.
