Twilight renders a video almost as fast as SketchUp

Is today Monday? as it feels like one.

did something happen to your appdata folder? did you move your user accnt to a diff. hard drive?
This can be found on Windows
systems in a path something like : (you will need to enable the viewing of hidden folders in Window's Folder Options!)
# XP: C:\Documents and Settings\Customer\Application Data\Twilight\
# Vista: C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Twilight\
# or on 64 bit x86\... C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Twilight
# Windows 7: C:\Users\Your_name\AppData\Roaming\Twilight\

The Twilight folder is there, I even tried deleting it, uninstalling Twilight, manually removing all traces then reinstalling version 1.0 and using original license without any luck.

I'm clueless now.

hmmm...
should be v. 1.1 :totgm:
find last emailed license after install. (you probably did this, but just thought I'd mention it.)

Fletch, I have one before that I believe, I have tried 1.1, 1.06, 1.18 (special version that worked for me when I had Vista issues in the past) and then I even downloaded the new version without luck.

I mentioned this elsewhere, but definitely install the latest and generate a new license request. Don't reuse any old requests.

Miguel, getting back on topic, you say that using IBL will speed things up, you are right it does, however SU still only uses one core and Twilight is therefore handicapped accordingly. Can I compile the animation using Twilight and save it as a xml, then open in KT in order to render with 8 cores?

I know I can deal directly with KT, but I have problems getting it to work beyong scene 2 using the animation script import.

Unfortunately I have no experience with Kerkythea animation involving moving objects, only moving cameras. :totgm:

Twilight uses all your cores. The only limit imposed by running inside SketchUp is on memory, not cores.
