probleme de texture

Post by symbol » Wed Mar 24, 2021 3:43 pm

Bonjour

Merci

For a while (2 weeks) I have been trying to place a texture on a bed cover.
This is a personal project.

I tried with thrupaint de fredo, but I can't (must say that the thrupaint is particularly difficult to understand).
Either it is placed correctly on the top but not on the edges or vice versa!

Would anyone like to help me? Thanks

Alvydas made this very helpful video:
Using a proxy object (a simplified place-holder object) in SketchUp to do complex texture application (aka UV Mapping) inside of SketchUp

Twilight Pro users have some extra UV mapping tools

It's not a magic bullet but sometimes it can work really well.

A few months ago, someone here (fletch?), helped me place a texture on a bed.
He had sent me the 3D model with the texture correctly placed.
Unfortunately, my computer system crashed, I lost the 3D model with the texture correctly placed on it.
If you still have the file, could you send it to me please? thank you

Hi Fletch,

Thanks for your fast reply,

it's been several months, maybe the name of the file contains "bed" or "lit" or "texture", I really don't remember :!

it's around "Mar 24, 2021"
