Quad core? :D
I'd say that image is headed to the gallery... only needs "a little love" for the color of the plant... :)
Thanks for sharing, Fred! It's great to have you here.

Thanks Fred.

I agree its a great rendering. I absolutely love the painted brick texture.
My personal preferences would rather see a different sofa. A careful choice could improve things slightly, but that my opinion.

I dono if this is still hot but i have a quick question

How did you get your concrete walls to look so textured? I seem to have trouble getting the formwork lines and indents into my concrete.

Thanks!

I expect he is using a bump map.
You can add bump to the material to give the impression of this type of texture.

It is covered with a good explanation in the TR User Manual. I think it is also probably demonstrated in the Getting Started Videos.

Fletch, that is wonderful! Thank you for sharing the TV model and the knowledge on how to create that effect.

Did you put the plant in the rendering in post? If it was in the model, was it 2D and how did you get the nice plant shadow to fall against the wall. Ok, I'm full of questions.

I know your a busy guy, so reply only if you have time.

Thanks
Patrick
