Hobby vs Pro?

Post by pdwyer » Tue Sep 23, 2014 1:36 pm

Hi,

Very happy to see the new V2!!! :gj:

Perhaps I missed it but I'm trying to find out what is different between hobby and pro version to know which I need. Is there a comparison checklist or feature list?

Thanks

Hello pdwyer,

We are working on that very thing at the moment. :D
Here is a very short preliminary list but there are at least 40 great features in Twilight

Twilight Hobby version has 25-50% speed boost, variety of Live Light Previews, variety of Live Environment Previews, nearly 70 Material Templates with new variety of live material previews, Post Pro Effects including temperature adjustment and vignette which are hardware accelerated! ... and much much more. Unlimited resolution, and animation rendering. Saving to .jpg only.

If anyone has purchased a license in the past 2 months they get a free upgrade to Pro.
Exploration Render, Section Rendering, Batch Render, Proxies, Deep Material Editor, and Procedural Materials including Toon Material. Save to all available formats.

Here is the page on the Twilight Render website that details the differences between Hobby and Pro:
