Demo version without exploration render button?

Post by Cristianj » Mon Sep 29, 2014 1:40 am

Hi, I've downloaded the demo, but I can't find de exploration button. The toolbar doesn't have it.

Is this a limitation to the demo?

The Hobby version (it's not a demo because it's not time limited and there are no size limitations) does not have the Exploration Renderer.

You can view the comparison of features here: http://www.twilightrender.com/index.php ... bby-vs-pro

Ok thanks.

Another issue I've had is that the render windos tends to disappear. I press the render button and you just see the grey window background, I get the message that the render has finished but there's nothing. When I try to close the render window, the program crashes. I thought it was due to having installed a v ray demo, but i uninstalled that and kept having this problem.

What is your operating system?
Did you turn hardware accelerated Post-Pro on? (if so, turn it off)
Can you post a screen shot?

Yes that solved it. I had turned the hardware acceleration on.
I had to set it to no acceleration and save the sketchup file, and then re open a file for the settings to stay that way, and then I could see the render window again.

I'm using windows 7.

Thanks.
