layer list missing layer

Post by larryg » Mon Oct 27, 2014 1:12 pm

Trying to work with the on/off of layers. One specific layer in sketchup does not show up. There is no scroll bar on the layer list so no way to tell if its below the last layer shown or not. Any hints?

Can you post a screen shot and the name of the layer missing?

If you can post the file itself, that would be good too.

Not sure what a screen shot will do, you will only see the visible list, not what you can't see. And unfortunately, can't post anything due to proprietary nature of the image - major corporate client. However, I did notice something. When I moved the window towards the top of the screen, I saw more of the list. Still couldn't scroll it. When I maximized the window, still couldn't scroll. It's as if the list doesn't' recognize the screen size/limit. Any other thoughts?

So your list is so long it goes off the screen? (That's why a screen shot is useful)

ok, here is a capture. Interestingly enough, I added a new layer, that one also doesn't show up. By the way, would be really nice to have these layers alphabetized...or at least an option for that.
