With SKUP now being 64 bit compatible, will this cause any issues with TWIL?

Is there also likely to be a 64 bit version of Twilight released?

We will post a 64 bit compatible version today. The currently available download is 32-bit only and is not compatible with x64.

Thanks, I can imagine this latest update has kept you busy! Great to see a release so soon though!

Will this version render at 32 bit speeds? If so, do you reckon you'll be developing a version which utilises the extra ram and speed from a 64 bit version?

Also out of curiosity, does 64 bit speed up rendering on a hyper threaded machine? Or does it just allow more ram?

It will automatically use the extra available RAM (if you have any) available to a 64-bit application.

x64 does not provide any speed improvement on any computer. If anything, all x64 applications are actually likely to be slower (though not much).

That's interesting about the speed differences.

I never hit the ram limit under the 32 bit version of Twilight, but nice to know I can now use all my ram :D

Thanks again for sorting a 2015 compatible version so quickly.
