Latest TW V2 Crashing

Also (more importantly), can you send me one or more of those files that crash? The smallest ones would be best, and / or the ones that crash most frequently.

Chris pm's sent. Side note uninstalled , reinstalled TW twice on both machines, didn't make any difference.

I gave up. Reverted back to previous TW V2 pro on the iMac. Been having to go back into older models a lot lately , couldn't deal with the crashing . Couldn't get any work done. Oh well....... liked a lot of the new features.

I was never able to repeat any of the crashes. It never crashed for me even once.

I have no idea what might be going on. Maybe it has to do with a conflict with another plugin. What plugins do you have installed? There is a known problem with Thea on OSX, so if you have that installed, try disabling it (Preferences -> Extension, uncheck Thea) and restart SketchUp. You can try that with any other extension too.

Chris, I really do appreciate your earlier help with looking into the problem. Needed to vent a little I guess. Have been having to go back into a lot of 2 and 3 year old projects to develop potential changes for the client. The day I reverted back, a model I had made changes to and needed to reapply materials and cook some new renders, crashed every time I opened the material editor. After about 15 times got frustrated and switched back to older version. Out the office this week. When I get back I'll check my plug ins again and see if I can find a conflict. Maybe I missed one the first time around.

Chris, just want to let you know. I downloaded and installed the latest version TW v2 this morning. I am not getting the crashing issues that I originally posted about. I'm doing my happy dance right now. not sure what changed but it seems to have corrected the problem. Thank you, thank you, thank you.....

I'm not sure what made the difference either. But in any case, I'm glad it's working!
