Got the key - do the first scene!

Post by HNTM » Tue Jan 26, 2010 2:25 pm

Firstly thanks to Twilight board who give us a fantastic engine!
I have worked with SketchUp for nearly 5 years and always used the original exporting though sometimes trying some realtime engine (POVray, Podium, Keakerthy, Vray...), Till one day i discover Twilight, i've tried it and got a little pleasure.
Got the key yesterday and doing a test immediately :D

Here is a scene of one of member (baviengach) from my forum (SUVN - The Vietnam SketchUp Community)

Daylight - Setting: Low - Time: 1m8s:

Sunset, a little lighting - Setting: Low - Time: 1m28s:

Drop me some comment on doing better!

By the way, I want to ask all of you how can I get the glow of the light
It looks like the glow of the projector lighting in the Manua 1.1 page 26.

I appreciate on your help.

really good first images! :welcome:
if you are referring to volumetrics... light beam shining thru dust in the atmosphere...
try studying this post, it will help a lot.

For the night shot above, try warming up the color of the light by changing it's color.

How to fake fire flames. may come in handy for you.

Color of Lights is interesting.
