Re: House - 2 Story - and Pool
Hi Fletch, How you did the roof? the roof tiles, are there any plugin? for roof tiles?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: House - 2 Story - and Pool
no, see first post. I built the tile from scratch. (measure and photographed the tiles on our roof, actually)

I have the utmost for what you have accomplished with this image. Wow....just wow
Re: House - 2 Story - and Pool
A great Image Fletch!..and I love the detailing.
It does have though, a distinctly non PR feel to it. [Maybe it's the lighting?....a bit too bright and cheery?]
Im not sure about the water...the house wall colour looks a bit bland and mono-chromatic and the window framing material [repeating on the lintels?] doesnt work too well, in my opinion.
But niggles aside.....Just lovely!!

Very nice job!
2 suggestions perhaps to improve:
Water is much too blue in my point of view.
Concrete texture around the windows is too noticeable...I mean at this distance it should be almost not visible.
I hope to see more about it soon..
Bravo

Thanks Archigrafix
interesting thoughts about the water and "concrete"
that's actually limestone (a photo of another limestone lintel.)
clients actually request me to make the water very blue.
but then, looking at this client's actual house under construction that I took last week... maybe they're right? (also, note the stone frame around the windows.. very typical of almost all buildings around here)
I will agree about the repeating - I guess I should find a better texture for my frames...

Ok for the blue water but then it's the quality of the texture: blue gradient must be more subtile. I mean a softer look.
