Post by Ibon » Thu Feb 11, 2010 1:42 pm

These look great! How are you doing the vegetation?

I think they are pretty great! The first has this wonderful hot day evening light pastel thing going on (and the boy calling off image is very interesting touch beyond just looking off image to bring more in). The second quite nice overall...and is much enhanced by the (melancoly?) story the characters may be telling.

Thanks for your kind words, I usually like to make renders that have an story going on behind them, like if they were frames of an event. I'm happy seeing you have understand and like it! The vegetation is from turbosquid (http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/I ... /ID/385668) and some other trees, i placed them into the model with the component spray.

Really nice, in the first image the balance between model and vegetation is fantastic! And the storytelling aspect gives a nice ´human touch´ to the images. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the people?

:^:

I think these are psoosibly some of the finest renders I have seen. The figures and plants bring the 'scene' alive and make the whole more realistic. These would make the basis for a very popular and useful tutorial. A resource many of us would be very happy to get hold of.
