Hi Tom,
Here is your answer:
Sun Rays passing through "Real" or "Thick" glass is called "Caustics".
Easy 09 does not render caustics from the Physical Sun and Sky or spot or point lights. It will render caustics only with surfaces shining through the glass using a Light Emitting Material.
In architectural renderings even if you use 2 panes of glass in your model, you will always get best results using "Architectural Glass > No Shadow" and maybe even change the default Alpha of "10" to be less... like "5" or "1".

great work tom, only thing i could suggest is changing background image....it is the only thing that makes it non-photo real IMO. great work, love the lamp! :^:
