Re: Rubik's Pencil
Now that's a Rubik's puzzle I can solve!
Re: Rubik's Pencil
Thanks Fletch and Miguel, yeah this is about my level of expertise in solving Rubik's cubes too!
Any ideas how I can get rid of the 'jaggies'? You can see them anywhere there is white in the picture. I'm rendering another one, longer this time to see if that helps I'm rendering with preset #10.

increase resolution maybe? then reduce after. shouldn't really get them with preset 10

Re: Rubik's Pencil
what format are you saving in?
save in HDR, and convert the image/resize in a photo editor.

Re: Rubik's Pencil
Thanks Oli...I'm thinking about getting it 3D printed
Fletch, I tried both JPG and PNG with the same result.
This one I rendered at 1200px for 330 passes (22 hours on my little laptop ), saved as HDR, opened in Photoshop (it opened at 3600px, because of supersampling I assume), changed from 32 bits/channel to 8 (so I could save as something other than HDR), then adjusted levels, resized to 1200px and saved as PNG. Its better, but not really perfect like it should be I've never really used HDR's before so I could be doing something wrong there.
Any other ideas?
