mark in a piece of furniture.

Post by sofie9536 » Sat Dec 25, 2010 10:48 am

maybe someone has a better idea. I need a logo on a part of an object. with a drawing program I have the logo drawn and then "shadermap" produces a displacement map. import to sketchup and then mesh to bitmap.
then the logo fit in place.

do you mesh-from-bitmap each time to the suface in question or keep a mesh and intersect it?

I've never used the the mesh-from-bitmap plugin so I don't know how easy that step is.

Do you need such detail? For distant view, I guess you could use bump mapping.
