well, at least 7 of those views were mine. so it's difficult to call a "view" a "request".
We will count the requests that actually post something. If they are not interested enough to sign in, they likely wouldn't be interested enough to buy the plugin, right? ;)

Well, if anyone is interested (and is reading this thread through page 2) -- go ahead and add your request!

+1!!!!!
As an long time sketchup user I've tried Bonzai and been very impressed. I did most of their webinars and tuto and now I can feel comfortable with it. It's lot of ease fun and precisin to use...The only thing that make me hesitate going to Bonzai is...it lacks a good internal renderer!!! So twilight for BZ would be a must! I think I am not the only sketchup user thinking that way..!

Any chance this forum can allow posting as a guest? I have tried to get a number of colleagues to post here, but while they like the renderer, they don't like subscribing to forums just for the sake of voting...

Absolutely not. We get literally hundreds, maybe even more than a thousand, spam attempts every week. Even if we could do guest posting with approval only, we aren't going to sift through hundreds of crap posts. Sorry. The digital world we live in.

We installed ZB Block about two weeks ago. The counter is at 17202 spam registration attempts at the moment. I have banned/deleted about 10.000 spammers from SCF so far.
(Click on the profile of the last, registered member and see what his "number" is in the database and see how many registered members we actually have). Opening a forum up for guest posting is a suicide nowadays.

Back to topic: Bonzai is indeed a nice app. However you really need to compare the market share and the work involved to develop a plugin for it.

We put in some spam block code about a year ago (at Gaieus' suggestion ;) ) at it has been a life saver. We log every spam registration attempt and the log easily goes to 500 pages in a couple months.

As Gaieus alludes, we have limited time and resources so we have to pick what we think is the best product, most useful to the most people.
