I don't know why this model is taking so much time to finish rendering even on high+ preset

I would think high+ would always take the longest to render.giltora wrote:I don't know why this model is taking so much time to finish rendering even on high+ preset
2 things: what kind of lighting do you have inside the house, if any? (It looks like the car has lights too; if those are light emitting materials you will run into long render times). And what kind of sky image are you using?
Also, you have a tree and some flowers. How geometry intensive are those?
Re: 3 bedroom design
Use Easy 08 for exteriors in daytime! It will be faster than Easy 07 in most cases. Easy 08 will likely be client-ready in 60 passes.
Re: 3 bedroom design
I have an answer. The car inside your scene is very detailed.
Re: 3 bedroom design
+1
scattered grass instances and detailed car with blurry reflections will both greatly increase render times with Easy 07 or 06.
using scattered instances for grass it is recommended to use only Easy 08 or Easy 09 render settings.

Re: 3 bedroom design
Since we got proxy inside TW 2, why don't you make the car a proxy model?
Re: 3 bedroom design
proxy increases viewing performance while working in SketchUp, but will not change the render times in this case.
