Industrial Loft

Post by thexcadguy » Sun Mar 22, 2015 10:00 pm

Comments, suggestions or criticisms? Shooting for an industrial vibe - Not sure what happened to the stools, gotta fix that!

I don't always respond/say thanks to comments & suggestions but I always see and appreciate them! (looking your ways Fletch)

Nice ! The first thing that came to my mind, if you have used Bump Map and 'Bevel Modifier' on the wooden construction ? It looks unnatural sharp. Beside this awesome !

What's Bevel Modifier? Is it only in the pro version?
I've been working around the unnaturally sharp issue in post (Photoshop) by creating a duplicate layer, applying a ripple filter of appropriate size then masking as needed.
(It's what I did at the water's edge here http://twilightrender.com/phpBB3/viewto ... =16&t=5124)

Watch the video tutorials in my signature. The second one is materials and bevel modifier, it is in Deep Editor only. (pro version)
