I, too, was curious - my guess is that it's a steel construction cantilevered frame inside of the table that is only a thin wooden box.

at the moment the purpose of this model is only to showcase design possibilities, In other words, we haven't quite figured that out but I did see these cantilevered brackets available online, they would probably be slightly visible on the model but I believe you could achieve this look with them.

Are you guys blind ?.....i can clearly observe that the inside edge of the desk is supported by the window mullion in the background...!!! :rofl:

Acutally, usually this situation is resolved with a single central pole leg set back about a foot (30cm) from the edge of the desk, painted black.

The off-center pendant light fixture over desk seems unbalanced/out of place/distracting.
