Re: modern living and dining and art wall
looking great, T!
Combination of fireplace and large television sharing same wall in living area with proper seat arrangement is always difficult, and while I've been looking for years for the solution to the problem, I find there really isn't a great answer. This is the case here, as well, unfortunately the fireplace, which should be the centerpiece, is shoved to the side.
The only real solution is to have the TV in a different space, or... eliminate fireplace- moving it to another location.
I've seen a few rare rooms that successfully integrate the TV with the fireplace, keeping the fire low, under the TV, and the TV well-integrated with the architecture - but of course the TV will become dated after 4-5 years and need replacing, then what do you do?
The lighting in the last one seems too strong compared to the sun outside.
