Post by penangroad » Fri May 27, 2016 10:04 am

Using SketchUp 2016 Mac & Twilight V2.4.6. I hope can learn more and improve my render skill.

Thank you very much.

It's a good presentation. You're already there. The left wall in the second image seems a little confusing to me. Is there a mirror? There's no shadow line between it and its reflection on the ground. The reflections of humans on the ground also give the idea of floating people.
Tell us, is this a project of yours, did you made this building model? :gj:

PS. I get it... it's a mirrored column :wall:

:welcome: good work!
Any questions?
Treeline sky horizon background would be good in the last night time image.

Thanks a lot. Yes it is a mirror. How can I make it to look a bit more like mirror?

And yes, I modeled the building via Sketchup from scratch.

Thanks Fletch. How do I add a treeline sky horizon background to the model?

You can either add a treeline into the model by painting a curved surface with a png image similar to these Subject: Useful Tree Line Backgrounds. Or you can use a spherical sky Subject: Spherical Skies Pack 1 (requires pro license to Red Carpet section of forum)
