Bathroom Vanity and Toilet
Bathroom Vanity and Toilet
Test with natural light and light portal combined with interior lighting in the same view
Rendered using Easy 09, Easy 10, and Medium 4b from the altAA settings.
I combined the Easy 09 and 10 into a single image to reduce noise and gain the lighting of both types of rendering.
The 04b rendering has nearly zero post-pro, but did have some contrast boost.
for FULL RESOLUTION image - right-click image and choose "open image in new tab".

Re: Bathroom Vanity and Toilet
good point.
I tried that often too. combining #3 and #9 to reduce noise and time. (time is my biggest enenmy)
How do you merge them in PS?

Re: Bathroom Vanity and Toilet
I think I like the white balance in B better, but the overall lighting in A better.
Merging multiple images is a great idea. I'll have to try that more often.

Well, Easy 10 takes a very long time to clear, but even shows caustics from the mirrors bouncing onto the adjacent wall (if I turn off all the lights, and only light with sky).jo-ke wrote:good point.

I ran Easy 10 at 1600px x X resolution, then I ran Easy 09 at 1604px x X+3px resolution, then resized the Easy 09 in photoshop to be 1600px wide. Then in Photoshop set the Easy09 layer to 50% opacity. Done.
Re: Bathroom Vanity and Toilet
usually I erase the plane surfaces of the #9 render to get the clear surfaces of the #3 render and preserve the nice light of the #9 render
Re: Bathroom Vanity and Toilet
TwilightBath_Easy9-10 with a little color correction and contrast in post. (right-click and view image in new tab for full resolution)

Re: Bathroom Vanity and Toilet
Looks great! Out of curiosity, how many passes did you let these images render to?
Re: Bathroom Vanity and Toilet
Sorry, but I didn't look at the passes. I am guessing between 60 and 100 for the Easy09 and Easy10 render settings.
