Rendering [OSX Energy Saver]

Post by decoratingbea » Thu Apr 20, 2017 4:04 pm

Hi, Why is it that when I leave my scene to render, I have to keep coming back to my computer and pressing enter for it to continue otherwise it remains just as I would have left it :( It is such a waste of time to sit and wait for the scenes to render. I use IMac OS X

If you mean things quit running if you walk away from the computer for a while ? On your mac you need to go into systems preferences > energy saver and check the various boxes so your computer doesn't go to sleep when the display shuts off.

I've used an App called Caffeine or Don't Sleep. Now I just do like tuna57 and just don't let it go to sleep (doesn't hurt the IMac) just set the screen saver to what ever you like.
