Hi,
I'm a super newbie to Twilight Render and am trying to create a basic rendering of a house exterior. I know that all the materials settings aren't fully set up so the rendering isn't super stellar, which is fine for me at this stage. What is not fine is the big white square that is blocking half of the house (but not the landscaping in front of it) That square is very much not there in the model, so where is it coming from and how do I get rid of it??? Please help
Help - my rendering is half blocked by a white square, why?
Re: Help - my rendering is half blocked by a white square, why?
You will have to post the scene, I think. The geometry is in your scene somehow; it's impossible to tell why it is showing up in the render and not in the view just by looking at 1 image.

Here a jpeg of the scene, does this help? thanks

No, that does not help.

Because Twilight sees it but you can't in Sketchup. Looks like something you right clicked and hide instead of erased. Try Edit/ Unhide/All or turn on hidden geometry

I remember seeing something like this happen in a model several years ago. However, the solution I do not recall.
I would copy the good geometry can paste it into place in a clean new SketchUp file. There is some junk in your model that is not cleaning up properly.
