Hi guys!
Finally, after going through the manual I felt comfortable enough to try and render something in Twilight. It's an old scene I had modeled in blender for testing purposes in Kerkythea, but now materials/lighting/rendering was all setup within sketchup free and rendered in Twilight. Easy/09 setting, 3 hours, a bit of postpro in Gimp (exaggerated camera lens is intentional ):
I must admit that Twilight revived a passion I thought was dead both for Kerkythea and Sketchup since it's so professionally integrated into Sketchup making it a lot easier to use than KT itself! And at the same time, made me realize how good and powerful KT is for a free renderer; now I also want to retake and review what I had learned about both of these programs but had left behind for some time.
I'm very glad I made it into the promo price! I hope you guys are getting tons of sales with this!
warmest regards,
Alvaro F. Celis
ps. Oh yes! You can grab the file here and run your own tests on it:

hahahaha, I was expecting those comments from you guys!
Just give me some time to "sharpen" my Twilight knife and hopefully I'll be on track again and able to post some better stuff. I wanted to give it a first shot and I'm getting the best impressions of the work achieved in this integration. It even feels like a whole new product!
Thanks for the tips, I'll try that re-render.
The best thing is feeling the same "warmth" as in KT's forums, hehehehe.
see you guys around,
regards,
Alvaro
ps. Fletch, by "set sun slider to 5" do you mean the "sunlight" slider"?(it's on 50 right now) or the "maximum sun intensity"?
ps. NM, I just read the tooltip and noticed the nice "sunny" and "cloudy" icons in the slider.

it defaults to "50" which means "match KT phys. sky default".
it looks best at something much smaller, and renders faster as well.
