Pool Lantern

Post by southridgerender » Fri Mar 02, 2018 1:07 am

I did a fair number of backyards and pools last year. Played with my creative side when doing this one. Thoughts and suggestions are welcome. First time posting so please be gentle. Not entirely happy with the repetition of the wood texture in some areas. Seeing the same part and pattern of a texture repeated takes away from the organic-ness of the image.

Overall a cracking render, the wood I agree with but you would have to look for it. Is that ripples I see on the pond? I cannot see anything that would cause ripples there.

Looking good there, one thing you could try is to make the ripples thinner. Other than that, good job :^:

Thanks all. I agree that the ripples could be smaller. Appreciate the kind word and the positive criticisms. Always looking to improve!
