I see the sky when I render
I see the sky when I render
Hello I am new to the twilight render and have watched a few tutorials but have some problems rendering, sometimes it works other times it doesn't I have tried changing all sorts of setting but I don't see my scene and can only see the sky color. has anyone had this problem before? if so how did you fix it? I am not using anything that would prevent the render seeing objects.
Re: I see the sky when I render
how about some screen shots or post a model that your having trouble with. easier to find a fix if everyone can see what's going on.

We have never heard of this precise problem before.
You mentioned that you changed a lot of settings, this is likely the problem, as the default settings for Twilight are set up correctly for you.
There are only two ways that rendering a scene would result in not seeing objects.
You have changed which layers will render. Or you have chosen to render selected objects, but don't have any selected objects. You may have chosen to permanantly hide the dialog box asking you about this.
In the Render Dialog, make sure "Update Content:" is set to "All", "Scene" is set to "Current View".
"Set the Rendered Layers" - all layers are turned on.
Go to Extensions>Twilight V2>Options and reset all the dialogs
Reset all saved dialog answers, and all saved dialog positions
If you think Twilight Render isn't working, Be sure you run a simple test: open a new SketchUp scene, build a simple box, and render it. If it's working, you should try to figure out what's wrong with your scene.

Re: I see the sky when I render
hi, I found a solution to this problem, I also had this problem
the rendering system put the lights on the image, so you have to put the lights before to make your model and it will work

Re: I see the sky when I render
When lights are added to a scene has no impact at all on the render. You can add them at any time. I'm sure this has nothing to do with the original poster's issue.loulepetitloup wrote: ↑Sun Oct 14, 2018 7:09 pm hi, I found a solution to this problem, I also had this problem

Hi , does anyone has a solution for this problem ?
I am not even changing any settings just adding light and my render scene doesn’t appear

Re: I see the sky when I render
Hi have the same problem, with a slight twist.
A small part of my scene renders but only parts close to a certain component in the scene. If I delete that component, the only thing that renders is the sky.
Here's the view in SketchUp
Here's how it renders. Just a weird region around the wooden beam component.
If I delete (or even just hide) the wooden beam component, then only sky is rendered. Bizarre!
I don't understand what's wrong with my model. If I start a new model and create a box it renders fine.
Does anyone have any pointers as to how I can troubleshoot this?
Many thanks!
Stu

Re: I see the sky when I render
Do you have Section Plane rendering enabled? If so, turn it off and try again and see if that makes a difference.
Otherwise, if you can send use the scene we can take a look at it.
