Commercial Kitchen in Progress
Commercial Kitchen in Progress
This is a commercial kitchen I have been working on. I tweaked the brushed stainless steel material last night and I'm really happy with it. I've also added a little PS to the specular reflections to make them a little less uniform (more wavy). The wall tile on the left is modeled. It has some pretty significant displacement so in lieu of creating a bump map I modeled it.
I let the render run overnight on render setting 9, 161 passes at 1844x985 and 40 threads. Then I ran the de-noise add-on and it finished cleaning it up beautifully.
I was playing around with the brushed stainless steel material yesterday and thought it would be fun to try it on the tile as well

Very good indeed
I like the tiles but I don't know if it's suitable even for a wall of a commercial kitchen that needs to be constantly cleaned if you know what i mean.

Very good!
Also 40 threads, damn. Sounds like a sweet setup there

Nice render, I agree reference tiles. Looks like muck would easily get ingrained in them.

Excellent effort in modeling the metal backsplash. Turned out very well.
Re: Commercial Kitchen in Progress
Thank you all for the comments. I absolutely understand the concern with cleaning the tile. This is a church kitchen that is capable of being used as a commercial kitchen but in reality isn't going to be used as such in the way a true commercial kitchen would be. But either way, I hadn't thought of that concern so I appreciate bringing it up.

Share the tile and I'll forgive you
