Notre Dame
Notre Dame
in the last days many drawings came to the web of the new ideas of the reconstruction of notre dame in Paris. In my opinion the best design is the original one. So I've found a nice model at the warehouse arranged some trees and houses and hit render...

Re: Notre Dame
That turned out really nice!
Surprised to see how low-poly the cathedral model is, and yet it looks really good in the final render. I guess it's true as they say: good materials can hide bad modelling, but no ammount of modelling would make up for bad materials
Just a question tho: the foreground trees, are they added in post or are they part of the skybox?

Nice!
Re: Notre Dame
I looked at the suggestion for a glass roof and basically cannot see why. It is Notre Dame, not a 21st century alternative. Heat and pressure treated timber rather than oak but for the rest? They should give it a rest and restore the building.
