Interior Render

Post by tuna57 » Sun Jun 02, 2019 4:52 pm

Just some more messing about. Dressed out the interior of a house model I did for practice a good while back. Decided to use it for some interior render practice. :!

Scene is lit with Sun & Sky. Lots of windows out of camera view.... Has point lights in the chandeliers and drop lights over kitchen island. Point lights in the ceiling cans on the left side.

Rendered on Easy 9 , 2200px - 1218px. 100 passes , took about 13 hours  . Lots of materials in this thing.....

DeNoised in Topaz . Post pro in Affinity and Gimp. Saved an Alpha Mask of the chandeliers so I had better Control in post pro. Have had issues in the past with the glass globes in light fixtures getting really blown out in post pro. Masking them gives a lot more control.

Was not looking to make a "House Beautiful" type image.... more of a walked into some ones house and snapped a pic , if that makes any sense :! Might change some things up and try again.... never can tell with me  .

I'm happy for you Tuna, we come a long way. I'm glad you took the camera away from objects.

NIce work, Tuna! Definite 1960's /1970's feel to it. Looks great, and you made a great choice with the lighting and post pro. Awesome!

Yep, definitely got the 60's feel to it as SpookyChick said, especially the couch and table. Render itself turned out really nicely too, good job!

That's great Tuna, love the natural lighting. :hat: This one definately has the 60's feel
to it of course with the Thunderball movie poster on the wall. You a Bond fan? There
was also a hint in your Studio Break Time image.

Thanks Rick. Your right about me being a fan of the "Bond" movies. Kind of funny though I was a little too young to see the early ones in the theaters had to wait until they got shown on the t.v. Overall I'm a real big old movie fan in general.
