Gold Powder Coated Material
I'm not very good with twilight hobby but was wondering if anyone had some advice on a not too difficult way to get something similar to the photos I have attached. Thank you!

Blurry Metal - 50 shininess - gold color in reflection and color of stand as light grey
download files below - load the hdr image into the spherical sky for same lighting.
lighting in your scene will be key - the metal needs something to reflect. Don't just float it in an empty sky it will look bad.

Fletch,
I'm rendering a bathroom vanity and I need the background to be white. Any suggestions? I have attached photos of the views I need.
Thanks again for all your help!

Re: Gold Powder Coated Material
and if you have any tips for glass I would most appreciate it!
Re: Gold Powder Coated Material
Render the object with as good of lighting as you can get with proper nice reflections, then render the Alpha Mask and put the object on a pure white background using the alpha mask. (link to tutorial for this below) Or at least build your white studio for the object only as big as necessary, and light the image with good lighting, such as HDR or a Product Light Studio. See link to tutorial below.
Your renderings will only be as good as your model.
Get Fredo Roundcorner plugin and bevel all the edges of your furniture in a second, or use Twilight Pro Bevel modifier.
Build furniture glass like this:
Subject: Model: Glass Table Top with Green Edge
Subject: How to use the Alpha Mask / Alpha Channel
Subject: Jewelry and Product Shots - the Right Light
Subject: How to use HDR image or HDRI image
Subject: Studio for product shots

Re: Gold Powder Coated Material
Create a good texture map (like alvydas provides above ) that you can apply to your model with that look, and apply a good template that gives the finish you like... like maybe try Paint>Satin?
maybe his is too black, you can lighten it with the SketchUp material editor, or lighten the texture in any decent texture editor like gimp or photoshop.
