Vizdepot Render competition

The prizes might mean nothing to you if you use SketchUp + Twilight, but that's not the point. The point is participating. I like their idea: You create a new thread, reserve the first post for your final image, and then reply with your WIP, getting feedback in the process. This way there are no last-minute surprise competitors and you might get to learn a ton in the way. I've never participated in such competitions because they are usually very secretive, but this seems to be lots of fun. Even the file name, "Wish You Were Here", gives off a good vibe (if you're a Pink Floyd fan, anyway).

Has anyone entered these contests before?

it would be great to have some quality Twilight users involved.
you should start with the jungle forest idea... that would be a big challenge. :D

Thanks for this, Miguel... :D

Just a note to those who will download the model in SKP format...
:!: Beware that the model is out of scale and you will need to adjust it to appropriate measurements... :!:
Cheers

Interesting, why not get a twilight internal contest going, or why not contact the organisers and offer a Twilight license as a price (free advertising goes a long way)

This may be a great oppertunity to finish my Tropical vegetation pack, and use the thread they afford me to push it's sales.
